HELPING YOUR CHILD SETTLE INTO WESTMILL NURSERY

We aim to make your child's transition from home to nursery as smooth as possible and have put together some helpful advice for parents to follow. We offer parents at least two settling-in sessions prior to their child's first day.  If you or the Supervisor thinks that your child will need more than this, then we will be happy to accomodate this until both you and your child are happy.

The purpose of settling-in sessions is to allow both you and your child to become familar with the new surroundings and staff.  Your child's Keyworker will also go through a Settling-in plan with you, this allows us to gather important detailed information about your child to assist in a smooth transition.
