Westmill Nursery is situated in the picturesque village of Westmill on the outskirts of Buntingford.  We pride ourselves on being a small setting enabling us to offer children a home from home atmosphere.   We offer children extended pre-school/nursery sessions within a happy, safe and stimulating environment.

  

 

We are based in Westmill's Characterful Village Hall

 

  • We are  Registered and were last inspected March 2007.   graded us OUTSTANDING IN ALL AREAS!  Please read our current report
  • We are registered to take 18 children each session, however we prefer to keep our numbers lower than this.
  • Children are able to join us from the age of 2 and have the option to remain with us to complete their nursery education.
  • Children can be registered at any age as we have a waiting list system.
  • We welcome children with special needs.  Please see paragraph below for further information.
  • We are member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
  • Our nursery is staffed by qualified and experienced practitioners whose enthusiasm is endless!
  • We are able to offer children a higher than average adult to child ratio.

 

Children with special needs will find themselves a valued member of Westmill Nursery. They follow the same curriculum, but with all the extra help they need to learn at their own pace. Other children in their group will be encouraged to help but not patronise them, and to be considerate without being over protective. Activities will be structured to allow them to be as fully involved as possible.
