WELCOME TO WESTMILL NURSERY

Westmill Nursery is situated in a beautiful village hall in the picturesque village of Westmill on the outskirts of Buntingford. We are very much part of our local community and make the most of such a lovely village by frequently visiting the park, church and local farm animals.

We have two outdoor play areas. A courtyard accessible throughout the session with an all-weather canopy and a larger garden which has large climbing equipment, sand pit, playhouse and vegetable patch.

We pride ourselves on being a small setting enabling us to offer children a home from home atmosphere. Parents and visitors are particularly impressed with the homely yet fun atmosphere that awaits them as soon as they walk in the door. 

Any apprehensions they may have had are immediately put at ease by our team of dedicated, caring and qualified staff.

We offer children extended preschool/nursery sessions within a happy, safe and stimulating environment. We plan action packed sessions giving them new experiences and learning opportunities to fit in with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). 

Children are also divided into small groups for adult-led age appropriate activities. The children’s time at Nursery is also a very important one in building relationships with other children.
